Lily Allen - The Fear

Listen on imeem.com <-- What's this?

Lily Allen is a cheeky London-based pop singer/songwriter. She is the daughter of comedian Keith Allen, and spent most of her childhood bouncing from one school to another -- in fact, she attended 13 different schools between the ages of five and 15. This constant moving meant she didn't have much of a chance to make lasting friendships, so Allen entertained herself with books and music.

She realized music was the only career for her and began writing songs that have been described as "equally sweet and bratty". The Fear, off her 2009 album, It's Not You, It's Me, is a great song written to explore paralyzing fame in clever way.

My daughter loves this song, but it has a potty mouth word in it that requires me to dive for the volume button every time is comes on. It makes her laugh because she knows what Lily said.
